SOOOOARIIINNNN!!!

Well on this day we went to EPCOT. If it has been a while since you have been, you probably wouldn't know what my first word means. Epcot is a MAMMOTH park, so we did it in 2 days, which was a very smart decision. The first day (Sunday) we did the ride portion to the left of the ball. It included our favorite rides to this date. Epcot ended up being our favorite park. We got there early and had the park to ourselves pretty easily. We first rode Mission: Space. This was a simulation ride that takes you to Mars. It was really, really cool but one piece of advice: Ride the Less intensive!! The more intensive will have so many G's that your cheeks will be plastered up against your face!

Then we went and rode Test Track, which was our first out of about 6 times that we rode it. It is where you can test a car as they are testing the road conditions, etc and then you end up going about 60 mph around a track! It was REALLY cool!

The next one was our first time on this ride, but it ended up being my favorite and a favorite for the rest of the family. It is called Soarin. It is a similation of flying on a hang glider. They put you in jump seats, like airplanes and hoist you up to this enormous screen and glide you through the sites of CA. Since I am an airplane nut, growing up in the industry, I was squalling the first time. WARNING though!! It is an EXTREMELY popular ride. Before a couple of hours were into the day, even on a Sun-Monday, the wait time was 60 minutes (it stayed) and they ran out of Fast Passes early. So when you go, get there early and ride it first. If there is a low wait time of 15-20 minutes do it again, because it will be difficult the more the day lingers on.

We did the land ride, which was cool. They have the NEMO ride, but in our opinion, SOO not worth it. The aquarium area is cool but Nemo is NOT worth the lines.

While at the Land exhibit, the boys were picked to be chefs and help cook cookies. That was oh, so fun!

We had a nice lunch on a picnic bench. The Kids also enjoyed the KidCOT, which is a program for the kids to get involved.

Then it was time for the Illuminations show. It was OKAY. Fantasmic and the light parade at MK was MUCH better! Here are some picts from that:

We left after the show. It was a great and cool night. Tomorrow continues our journey to Epcot.

P.S. Lady why- I have a Minolta 5 D Digital SLR camera with a 28-300 zoom lens.
