We hope you had a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year! I am sorry for the delay, but my Christmas pictures are on a separate computer. I was also waiting for pictures from my brother-in-law.

We decided to have the kids open their Christmas on Sunday night, due to our plans for the Holidays. We have a limit of $100 per child and swe try to separate their gifts into three main categories: One that meets a spiritual need, one that meets a physical need and one that meets an educational need.

We started Dave Ramsey's program a few months ago, and I am thrilled to say that we we able to pay cash for Christmas this year! Also a little praise in that department, is that we sold the only vehicle that had a car payment on it and from the proceeds we were able to pay off a Credit card and put a little money back.

Christmas Eve Afternoon, we went over to my dh's parent's house. We were also thankful to have dh's grandmother there with us. We had a great meal! We had a good time for fellowship and gathering. We had prepared the children for "uncomfortable questions", but PTL we didn't have any!

Here are some pictures from that:

That evening, we went over to dh's Uncle and Aunt's home for a Birthday celebrations. Dh's grandmother's birthday (and wedding anniversary) is on Christmas Day. She turned 85 this year and we really haven't had a big family gathering like that since she was 80. So we decided to do that.

Christmas day morning, we went over to my brother and sister-in-law's home. We had a Christmas brunch and had a good time with them. (and we got some rain!) After that we went to the in-laws home again (we are about an hour from them but my brother and my inlaws live about 20 minutes apart).
