I made some snacks for our family this week. One of them was a great recipe that I adapted from my friend, DeEtta. It is a big hit and I am sure your family will love it too:

1/2 c honey (I did 3/4)
1/2 c sucanat with molasses
1 T vanilla
3/4 c peanut butter
2 c rolled oats
2 1/2 c puffed rice or Rice Krispies
1 T flax seeds (I think I did a handful. We love this stuff)
1/3 c millet
1/2-3/4 c chopped walnuts
1 c chocolate chips
1/2 c sunflower seeds
1/2 c sesame seeds

Combine all dry ingredients. Heat honey and sugar to boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla and peanut butter. Pour over dry ingredients until well coated. Press into a 9x13 pan (I coated mine with spray and wax paper btw). Cool and cut into squares. Enjoy!

Neat. I have never made granola. It sounds like a great snack. So glad you join in.

I haven't ever made granola, either. Good for you! I'm not very adventurous when it comes to cooking!

Susan,
The great thing about this recipe, is it is SO easy! And healthy for you too. If you can make "rice Krispy treats" you can make this No Bake Granola!!
