He got to dissect a Dogfish shark and he LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED it!! He was able to study all of the parts (with his brother), determine it was a girl, see what its last meal was, see the VERY tiny, almost discentegrated brain, the 2 chambered heart (a human has 4 chambers) and see how many rows of sharp teeth it had (he actually cut out one of the jaws and put it in a baggie to have in his room and study it!).
Well the kids loves learning and he is definately passionate about this!! We were watching movies of him as a little one last night, and he LOVED the outdoors and exploring then and nothing has changed!
We were able to get some smaller things done in school, but this one was a big one! I even enjoyed myself. The biggest thing I got to do was a Frog! Ribbit!

UGH..... we're not very good at getting the dissecting things done around here.... I can barely stand the smell myself. WAY TO GO!

Thanks to HTT and a pretty day, we were able to do it, from a distance. It wasn't too bad. It was acutally fun!
