GRRRRR!!

Doctors, Dentists and Insurance! Oh, What a ZOOO!!!

First of all I am trying to make an appt with a specialist for my oldest son. I called the dr and they wouldn't even talk to me further until I got my records, reason for visit and insurance card faxed in. Well I called our family dr and they said it would be 2-3 days for that. Well they called to say they had faxed it and 4 days later, I heard nothing. So I called them today and they said that they had recieved it but didn't have my phone number. Then when I got to scheule an appt, well they didn't have one until MARCH because there isn't a dr at that location (which is about an hour from us) but we could go downtown to Scottish Rite for an earlier appt. This office said that they would fax all of the paperwork that had been faxed to them, down there. I called the Downtown location, and they almost wouldn't talk to me because they didn't have my files, "IN their hands", grrr! I stressed to them that it was being faxed today. They took down all of my information and tried to get my insurance info (which I didn't have on me) but I let her know that it was in the paperwork coming from the other location. So now I have to wait for the first location to fax his records, and reason for visit, and insurance info to the downtown location and wait ANOTHER 24-48 hrs just to make an appt!!! Feeling the blood pressure rising!

Then I need some updated dental work done including root canals. Well, the closest Endodontist is 35 miles away, directly into Atlanta traffic, grr! I called another location a little closer to my parents, but "they no longer have an endodontist at their office!"

Calgon, TOTO, take me away! BTW, for my dental work, I have threatened and almost said, "chuck it, I will drive the 1 1/2 hr to Birmingham and go to my old dr."
