Sorry it has been a while but we have been busy not only homeschooling, but genealogy and getting a website ready.

We have 10 acres and a house next door to us. The field has had really, really tall grass, since we moved here, 1 year ago. When Mr. Dowda, our neighbor mowed it, is let out some unwelcome visitors to our back yard. Leia wasn't too upset though, she had a "play thing". It was absolutely hilarious. I am going to put what happened into a story form with pictures. It is called:

"Leia and the Mouse(which looked more like a rat to me, lol)"

There once was a sweet bulldog, named Princess Leia, who was playing in her backyard.



All of a sudden, a mouse escaped from the tall grass and entered our backyard and Leia saw the mouse.



She chased the mouse, and it went under the gutter....



She then "pawed" it out and she flipped it and played it with and watched it.


Then it played dead.....




Then it scooted on to out basement patio and tried to climb up inside the siding (got half of its body and mainly its head)


Leia sniffs it and nudges it:



Leia chases it under the siding and tries to paw it out to come out:


Mouse plays dead and is tired:


Leia is tired, lol:


We then confiscated the mouse in a box and put it back into the field. I would say that mouse will think again before coming back. Hope you enjoyed our story for today.
