This weekend, we were very busy at the GA Samboree with Good Sams. My baked goodies were VERY successful and me baking bread for samples at the show, was a HUGE hit. The boys also did very well. They were happy with the money they made and they sold out of quite a few things. We could have done without the nasty weather and rain though. Nothing like camping and being surrounded by water, but that is okay. We got home safely. We were able to stay with mom and dad in their 5th wheel and we also had a visit from a distant cousin on my Maternal Grandfather's side.
We went to church yesterday and had a blessed time. We came home and had a relaxing time.
Today we did school and I baked MORE bread. I had to bake for my vet, who buys from me. Also today is Luke's 10th birthday. Hard to believe that it has been 10 years since he was born. He was born in Birmingham and was born on his due date. He is so funny and a joy and delight. He LOVES horses (in fact he wanted a LIVE one for his birthday this year, and cried like crazy when I told him that a horse wouldn't work in a subdivision, lol). He also loves King Arthur (got the Mega Blocks for his birthday), Robert E. Lee and his teams for football all have horse mascots (Denver Broncos, Boise State Broncos, etc.). He is loving, funny and loves Jesus! We are so proud of him. Tonight we went out to his favorite restaurant and then went to Toys R Us so that he could spend some of his birthday money. He LOVES King Arthur (as we said before) and we gave him the ship and the store had 50% off, so he got the castle, which he was very excited about.
I am tired from this last week, so I will probably go to bed early. All the best.
