What's going on in our home? Well right now, besides your normal school schedule, we are doing some studies for the season.

We are reading a book called Tabitha's Travels. It is a part of a trilogy that we have read. We did Jotham's Journey first and the kids LOVED it. It kept them on the edges of their seats. Then we did Bartholomew's passage last year. So this year it is Tabitha's Travels. They LOVE them and it places them right during the time of Christ's Birth.
We are also doing a FREE Inductive Bible Study on Advent. It is in a PDF file and is great. Here is the link for it: http://www.mtviewnaz.org/special/advent/advent_main.htm

We are also, just for fun reading Charlotte's Web, in preparation for the new movie coming out on the 15th. We cannot wait. What a cute movie it will be.
Tonight we had Chicken Cordon Bleu, fried rice with vegetables, sweet potatoes, and green beans with home made wheat bread. It was VERY VERY good.
Hope you are having a good one.

Thanks for the upcoming movie tip. I think I'll get that book out and read it to the kiddos and then we can go see the movie this holiday season!
We haven't even started our Avent reading yet... maybe today. We've already read all 3 Jotham books... thinking about doing a different one this year. If I procrastinate much longer we won't be doing any (LOL)!
This post happened to catch my eye from its title on your front page. I just bought Charlotte's Web for my 8yods for Christmas, in preparation to see the movie. 12yodd then told me that she'd never read the book. So I'm planning this as a January breakfast read aloud!
