Our new School year is about to begin. We have all of our curriculum and I have lesson plans made. This week we are "tweaking our schedules and chores". I have to get this house cleaned first (which I let go while doing lesson plans). We are SO looking forward to this school year. Here is what we have planned:
Oldest DS (14)/Second DS (13):
Rosetta Stone Latin
Greenleaf OT History
Math U See Prealgebra
Renaissance and Reformation (TruthQuest)
Sketches from Church History
1st 1/2 of school year: Unit Study in Elections/Olympics and second 1/2 is Georgia State History
Real Science 4 Kids Chemistry
Bible Doctorine
Winston Grammar
Write Your Roots (They will be writing biographies of our family members to put into a book. We are excited about this, especially since we have 1 grandmother living).
Great Experiences in Editing (Grammar)
Youngest DS (9):
Greenleaf OT History
Math U See
Renaissance and Reformation (TruthQuest)
Sketches from Church History
1st 1/2 of school year: Unit Study in Elections/Olympics and second 1/2 is Georgia State History
Apologia Zoology 3
First language Lessons (Grammar)
Write Your Roots (They will be writing biographies of our family members to put into a book. We are excited about this, especially since we have 1 grandmother living).
What are you looking forward to this year? What are you doing different from last year? I look foward to hearing your responses.

I'd love to hear how it goes with Write Your Roots. We still have it on the shelf, and dd has been eying it. I want to make sure that she isn't too overwhelmed, so I think we might play around with it as a Friday fun day activity.
How do you like Experiences in Editing? Believe it or not, but my dd thinks that editing is a blast. Now, she doesn't want to edit her own papers, but she loves to practice! :)
